Giveaway at Fitteds, Pockets and Snappis, oh my!

ok, Maria at Fitteds, Pockets and Snappis, oh my! is hosting a great giveaway!

I LOVE her website.  It is the only cloth diaper blog I check on a regular basis. . . like everyday.
She reviews cloth diapers, hosts giveaways, answers questions about cloth diapering and is all around a great lady to know.

The giveaway?  A bumGenius 4.0, a Fuzzibunz pocket diaper, a Kissaluv's fitted, Flip cover, Grovia wipes, Thirsties wipe solution, and a Planet Wise wetbag!!!!

can you say AWESOME!

hurry on over and enter to win!

of course, if you win, I will be ridiculously jealous and expect a kick-back of some sort.  lol, just kidding!

happy diapering and good luck!

something

well, I gotta post about SOMETHING!

I would really like to post once or twice a week, but it just never seems to work out that way.  :)

So, random post of the, umm, month...cloth diapers!
(yup, still going strong with the cloth diapers!)

We started when Elijah was 4 months and Sydney was almost 2 and a half.  So, I've got plenty of mediums, but no smalls for the new baby.  I'm planning on making some more for the newbie, but also know that a) newborns can go through 16+ diapers a day and b) most out grow 'newborn' size in 2 weeks, and out grow small by 4-6 months old, so some balance is needed.  I need a lot of diapers, but they will be out grown really fast, so I don't want to spend too much time making so many diapers.

Solution: prefolds...the grand-mama of all diapers. :)
would you look at the tie-dyed awesomeness of these diapers!!!!!!

I snagged an awesome deal...
37 prefolds for 16 bucks, including shipping!  YES!

of course, I also plan on sewing up some...with this fabric:

especially excited about these fabrics!!!

Sydney's Robot

I asked sydney what in the world she was doing, and she said,

"I a robot!"

Plastic drawers for feet.
Awana Cubbie Puppets for hands.
Little CD Crate for head.

pretty clever.

Elijah's new do

the boy had been needing a hair cut for a while (in my opinion)...but, I decided to try something new.

I think it's adorable!
