Gettin' ready for my party

it's Sydney's Safari Celebration!!!
Well, it will be soon! her first birthday is coming up and we are gettin ready. we've got grandparents, great-grandmas, great-aunts and a cousin coming, oh and of course US, mom and dad. horray for birthdays.

Naomi and Wayne

I really love this picture...we're 11 years older, and hopefully a little wiser, but still us. Wayne is now the senior pastor at a church we've been honored to know for most of the past 10 years. Me? I'm continually redefining and growing in my understanding of what it means to be a wife and mom. It's exhausting and challenging and just adventurous. I also enjoy quilting, crafting, decorating and a good conversation on faith, real life, expectations, and even depression. Life is hard, but that's ok.
