Kites Over Lake Michigan

Went to visit with Great Grandma Z at

Kites over Lake Michigan.

Lots of Sand

And lots of people and kites.

See the large kite in the distance hovering over the crowd?

It's an 88 foot long octopus kite.

Naomi and Wayne

I really love this picture...we're 11 years older, and hopefully a little wiser, but still us. Wayne is now the senior pastor at a church we've been honored to know for most of the past 10 years. Me? I'm continually redefining and growing in my understanding of what it means to be a wife and mom. It's exhausting and challenging and just adventurous. I also enjoy quilting, crafting, decorating and a good conversation on faith, real life, expectations, and even depression. Life is hard, but that's ok.
