sweet dreams and sweet potatoes

Poor Elijah baby. He was eating his yummer sweet potatoes...and crying. I went to check on Sydeny quick and the crying stopped. oh good, I thought, he stopped crying, I can quick do one more thing, then clean him up for his nap.

Naomi and Wayne

I really love this picture...we're 11 years older, and hopefully a little wiser, but still us. Wayne is now the senior pastor at a church we've been honored to know for most of the past 10 years. Me? I'm continually redefining and growing in my understanding of what it means to be a wife and mom. It's exhausting and challenging and just adventurous. I also enjoy quilting, crafting, decorating and a good conversation on faith, real life, expectations, and even depression. Life is hard, but that's ok.
